Conscious luxury

Nevermined serves as the source: a laboratory in the heart of Germany’s Ruhr region, where real diamonds grow under strictly controlled conditions. Not synthetic, not imitation but identical to mined diamonds in every chemical, physical and optical way. All without impacting nature, and created under fair conditions. This is made possible by CVD technology, in which pure carbon is applied to a small seed plate. Layer by layer, a sparkling natural wonder emerges, powered by 100 per cent certified green electricity, with full traceability and SCS certification.

It reflects our connection to the planet in a powerful, aesthetic way – without taking from nature.”

“That’s also why we only use recycled gold at mandana. The bracelet cords are made from recycled PET bottles, and the jewellery cases are made from Oleatex, a vegan leather alternative derived from olive oil by-products. Sustainability runs through the entire value chain, from laboratory to packaging.”

With the All Gens collection, mandana makes another bold statement, as Christine Marhofer emphasises: “Here, every form of categorisation disappears. The designs are deliberately unisex, wearable in all directions, with no top, bottom, left or right. Nevermined fungiert als Quelle: ein Labor im Herzen des Ruhrgebiets, in dem unter streng kontrollierten Bedingungen echte Diamanten wachsen. „Das ist auch der Grund, weshalb wir bei mandana ausschließlich recyceltes Gold verwenden. Der Stoff der Armbänder wird aus recycelten PET-Flaschen gewonnen, die Etuis bestehen aus pflanzlichem Oleatex. Nachhaltigkeit zieht sich durch die gesamte Wertschöpfungskette vom Labor bis zur Verpackung.“
