800 Jahre Geschichte, mitten in der Natur

An der Grenze zwischen den Kantonen Zürich und Zug, umgeben von Wald und Wiesen und mit Blick auf die Berge, liegt das Kloster Kappel. Seit über 800 Jahren finden Menschen hier einen Ort der Ruhe. Heute verbindet das ehemalige Kloster historische Architektur mit modernem Komfort und herzlicher Gastfreundschaft – und ist zugleich Seminarhotel und Bildungshaus.

Schon beim Betreten des Klostergeländes verlangsamt sich das Tempo. Der weitläufige Klostergarten, die ruhige Bibliothek und zahlreiche stille Rückzugsorte laden dazu ein, den Alltag für eine Weile hinter sich zu lassen. Im Winter sorgen Fondue im Kreuzgang, der Tannenwinterwald sowie Glühwein und Punsch mit musikalischer Begleitung für eine stimmungsvolle Atmosphäre. Ein Höhepunkt ist die Weihnachtszeit, wenn mehr als 10.000 Kerzen das Klostergelände in warmes Licht tauchen.
