Luc Van Loon and Christopher Chen of CVL Brewers GmbH belong to the few winemakers worldwide who make beer and wine at the same time. The two winemakers and brewers consider both products of equal importance: “Beer and wine can be complex and very aromatic. Both are perfectly suited to be paired with fine food. Unfortunately, this message has not yet been spread far enough.” Founded in 2014, CVL Brewers GmbH moved into their new nanobrewery at a former wine cellar in Neuenhof in 2015. “Our customers appreciate balanced and elegant beers without extreme flavour experiments,”explain Chen and Van Loon. And this is exactly what inspires the pair when designing their beers.
