The family run vineyard Setzer in Austria’s beautiful Weinviertel dates back to 1705. While the region has always produced wine, wine production took a backseat behind agriculture and farming for centuries, and it wasn’t until 2001 that wine production took over. The climate combined with the light and calcareous soil creates the perfect foundation for the production of traditional wines. Uli and Hans Setzer’s winery is dedicated to perfecting these wines by focusing on the grape variety. The passionate winemakers try to reflect the excellent intensity of the Hohenwarth region in every single bottle.
