Oxnschwanz-Bavaria was created out of necessity. The initial idea for the one-of-a-kind dog furniture crossed designer Wanja Ruoff’s mind when he wanted to build a wooden basket for his own dog Bali. At first quite rough, over the years the concept was developed into a design that now features a perfect balance of aesthetics and functionality.“The key is in the simplicity,” says Ruoff, who founded WOOD&WANJA in 2010. “For me, good design primarily signifies to progressively omit distractions and focus on the essence of the design, as less is more.”
