The bakery Meier-beck venerates the values that are represented by Switzerland: originality, natural goodness and uniqueness. All of their pastries are based in traditional recipes and regional ingredients. Menials and Verena Meier opened their bakeshop in the village St. Martin, of beautiful Val Müstair about 40 years ago. The origin of Meier.beck’s ingredients can be found mostly from this region. The various flours are planted on the fields of the UNESCO heritage site Saint John Abbey in Müstair. All flour sorts planted there are certified organic. Quality is not produced by chance and Meier-beck AG sustains ecological, traditional, and above all, delicious baking.
