“Living should give pleasure” – this is the motto of klotzaufklotz. Carpenter Mathias Hasselmeier and web designer Tim Binder founded the small manufactory, which offers wood products for nearly every room in one’s home. All products by klotzaufklotz are manufactured by Mathias in the Bavarian town Eichstätt and then sold in the online shop. The product lines are small, which makes klotzaufklotz’ creations almost unique. Ideas come to the founders’ minds mainly through their own lifestyles. “More often than not we get into situations in which we think ‘there should be a proper solution’ or ‘we could do this better’,” Binder recounts.
