As soon as the days become shorter and cooler, we are coming closer to the end of the year and this means: Ingolstadt’s Winterzauber is coming. The perfect time for a pleasant evening stroll combined with a warming drink and a Christmas choir singing in the background. Baked apples, burned almonds, glazed fruits and sugar roasted nuts smell seductively between the almost fifty festively decorated wooden huts. The Christkindlmarkt in Ingolsdadt is one of the oldest Christmas markets in Germany and the biggest element of Ingolstadt’s Winterzauber which takes place from November to January every year.
